Dear Parents,

International Indian School, Buraidah was established as a branch of The Embassy School, Riyadh on 26 August 1989 under the guidance of His Excellency Talal Hussain Al Beyani, The Director General of Health Affairs, Quassim Province, for the Indian community in Buraidah.

The school shifted from Safra to Faiziah, Al Akhdar Street in the year 2007 with 1200 students and 50 teachers. As the strength grew up over a period of time the Preparatory section was separated and shifted to Anga area in the year 2011.

The present Managing Committee, with its initiative and all out efforts to relocate the school with the present strength of 2506 students and 190 staff has ventured out to identify a suitable location for the school. The new area identified will cater for better facilities in terms of more spacious classes, efficient management of staff, planned laboratories, large play way area, sufficient parking area and above all easy accessibility from any direction that will save time and distance with the permission of Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia.

The location is identified on the Ring Road (SULTHANA), Opposite to Shigga Bridge, SHIGGA area with the following dimensions:-

a)     Total plot and Parking area – 10,000 sq meters.

b)     Proposed built up area       8,000 sq meters.

As per the instruction on the subject by the Embassy, the builder will construct building on his acquired land and offer it to school on yearly rent basis. The school will only be renting out the building as per the contract and no other condition will apply. It is estimated that building will be handed over to school within a period of 12 – 14 months after signing the agreement.

The Director, Ministry of Education, Observer Community Schools from the Indian Embassy and Higher Board are also part of this venture to facilitate in the process to acquire the building. The approval of the higher authorities has to be taken before proceeding with the project.

The present locations of Prep and Main school are in two different locations, which is not financially viable. The hardships being faced by the parents to drop and pick up their wards, the increase in rent from time to time, the state of the building, reaching saturation point as regards futuristic expansion has made the Managing Committee members to venture on the new building project for the comforts of parents and students.

The parents are requested to visit the earmarked location and forward suggestions if any. They can also suggest any better alternate location for the construction of school building. The location map of the proposed location is available in the school website.

Your suggestions for this noble cause for the welfare of students will be highly appreciated till 10 March 2016. The time is at premium.  Let us all contribute our bit for this mega project.

The students’ future is in our hands.

Regards
