Let’s salute the nation on this auspicious day.

    70^th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at International Indian School, Buraidah. The ceremony started at 8.00 AM in the Boy’s section ground in the presence of staff and students.

  Mr. Javed Hasan, Vice Principal of Boy’s section, Ms. Geetha Hari, HM of Girls section, Ms. Sheeja  Mol, Vice principal In-Charge of Primary School and Ms. Anitha Begum, HM of primary school headed the day with their presence. The day started with Surah recited by Mast.Jesin. Mast. Junid, the head boy, welcomed the gathering to commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, our vice principal Mr. Javed Hasan unfurled the tri colour flag. The students of choir group sang the National Anthem by expressing the joy of freedom.

Mast. Ahamed Qureish, the sports captain shared his views of the significance of the day. Ms. Sheeja Mol and Mr. Javed Hasan addressed the gathering and inculcating the students the importance of freedom.

Ms. Hema sang the patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards motherland.

The programme concluded up with the vote of thanks by Mast. Abban. The whole programme  was compeered by Mast. Junid and Mast. Abban.

   Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place to live.
