INVESTITURE CEREMONY

"Leaders
are not born but are made by their experience in life". To inculcate
the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of
functioning of the administrative body, a School cabinet was formed at
International Indian School Buraidah and the investiture ceremony of
the academic year 2016-17 was held on 25th and 26th of April 2016.
Ms. Minimol Joseph , Member of academic sub commitee, Management Commitee, was the cheif guest
of the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by our Vice Principal
Mr.Javed Hasan and Head Mistress Ms. Geetha Hari and other members of
the staff witnessed the ceremony.
Ms. Bathulla and Ms.
Farha anchored the programme and delivered the welcome address on 25th
April. Ms. Raji Sulfikar anchored the programme and delivered the
welcome address on 26th April.
Miss. Aparna Suresh of
class XII- A was selected as Head Girl. Mohammed Junaid of XII- B was
selected as Head Boy. Miss. Ashmi Backer of XII-A was selected as
Sports Captain and Miss. Fabina of XI-A as sports Vice Captain of Girls
Section. Mast. Ahmed Quarish of XII-C was selected as Sports
Captain and Mast. Rifad Mohammed of XII-B as Sports Vice-Captain of Boys
section.

Four house Captains and four Vice Captains of
both Girls and Boys Sections were selected. Student Volunteers were
also selected. The prefects were conferred with badges, shases and
flags by the cheif guest Ms. Minimol Joseph, Vice Principal Mr. javed
Hasan and Head Mistress Geetha Hari. An elegant, crisp March-Past was
also performed by leaders which was followed by an oath taking ceremony.
Ms. Imtiyas Alam, Ms Shaheena Banu and Ms Ajeena were selected to be the discipline In-Charge teachers in boys section.
The cheif guest Ms. Minimol , Vice Principal and Head Mistress
addressed the gathering by wishing the young leaders to maintain the
values of the School and keep the School's flag flying high while
discharging their duties honestly and impartially. Mohd. Junaid the
Head Boy addressed the gathering on behalf of School Student Council.
Ms. Anitha Shaji proposed the vote of thanks and the programme concluded by singing the National Anthem.
